The Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme's (YES) Commencement Ceremony for its Trainer of Trainers Workshop.

On Monday, May 22nd the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) held a Commencement Ceremony for its Training of Trainers Workshop at the Ministry’s Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall office in St. Michael.

The five day training programme is designed for the twenty-three (23) participants, which include youth programme consultants, seasoned facilitators, UWI students, business development officers and mentors, to focus on business labs and the integration of technology.

Participants are gaining knowledge on key topics including: • Introduction to Business Labs and Methodology • Interactive Discussion on the Business World • Review of the Business Model Canvas • Feasibility Studies & Market Survey • Legally Registering your Business • Intellectual Property • Basic Company Organization and Chart • Marketing for Small Businesses

The workshop is being conducted by lead trainer, Clive White, who has served as a facilitator with the YES Entrepreneurial Development Training Programme for more than two decades. He is the lead trainer and facilitator for the Organization of American States’ Young Americas Business Trust Business Labs Programme in the Caribbean.
